Sephora to donate 100% of Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez sales on Oct. 10 in honor of World Mental Health Day

Cosmetics company Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez and Sephora announced that the brands will be teaming up in honor of World Mental Health Day, which takes place on Oct. 10, 2023.

On this day, Sephora will donate 100% of proceeds from Rare Beauty product sales to the Rare Impact Fund. Created in 2020 by Gomez, the Rare Impact Fund aims to “strengthen mental health services and education for young people.”

On Oct. 4, Gomez shared an Instagram post, describing why this mission is so important to her. 

“I started Rare Beauty along with the Rare Impact Fund three years ago with the mission to expand mental health resources to young people and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Since 2020, we have provided resources to 25 global grantees who have done incredible work toward this mission. We still have so much work to do [...],” Gomez says.

According to the Rare Impact Fund website, the company has set a goal of raising $100 million in the next 10 years to make mental health resources more accessible to young people.
