The shoulder season for a Mykonos getaway would be between September and November, with September being the busiest month. As the crowd starts to disperse at the end of September, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the beach and explore the surrounding islands without the risk of overcrowding.

Hotel rooms also start to return to a normal rate, making it perfect if you don’t want to spend a premium fee on accommodation.

If Kalambaka is your main agenda, the best months to visit Greece will be from April to May or September to October. With an average temperature of around 60°F to 80°F, it’s a great time to explore the mountains and monasteries.

We recommend visiting during the Holy Week to experience the unique atmosphere during Greek Orthodox Easter celebrations.
