A: AnswerI live in upstate New York, and winter is tough to get a good read on battery life since cold kills batteries. However my experience is it takes about 4-5 hours to charge from being completely dead, depending on how cold it is when you bring it in. As far as battery life, in the cold (below freezing temps) I’ve been getting about a 4-5 weeks of use before it needs charged. I don’t have a lot of visitors, so the frequency of visitors and activation of the camera can affect the time frame for use.Answered by RichardP

Camera quality is prefect!
I previously owned the 1080p version and it was okay. Upgrading to the 2k model was a good choice. Camera quality and response is a lot better. Also, did I mention it’s super clear visually?

Ok Doorbell
I had 1st Gen a couple of years back and loved it because it recognize animals, people or boxes easily, so I decided to give it try but so far lots of issues with audio, and recoginzing. The audoo sounds like a blown speaker and when volume is adjust, it goes mute, where you can barely hear it. And to top it off, after contacting Arlo, and running many tests, they wanted me to do a “RMA” meaning to return mine device at my own cost and wait for them to receive so they can send me a “replacement”, which I find it unacceptable, but after an email, they were able to make it better and now theyrw sending a new unit.

Fantastic doorbell cam!
I found it really easy to hook up and wired it directly so it could be powered and also so the doorbell works with it. Also, the video quality is fantastic! The app works seamlessly with it as well. Would definitely buy again!
